Hosted by Adele Frost, M.Ed. Adele Frost has a Masters Degree in Education from the University of Connecticut, specializing in Rehabilitation Psychology. She has been in the Human and Social Services Field, for both the Private and Public Sectors, over the past 30 years. Her experience has included coordinating Supports and Services in the areas of Residential, Day Program, Employment, Community Access and Healthcare for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, Mental Health, Dual Diagnoses, Autism, Forensics, and Drug Addiction. In her previous roles as a Behaviorist & Clinical Services Manager in the Private Sector and a Behavioral Modification Program Specialist & Developmental Specialist in the Public Sector, she gained extensive experience in functional analysis of behavior, developed behavioral plans and trained staff to support individuals in learning new behaviors. In 2015, Adele tried to save a person's life through CPR stomach thrusts. Adele did not know at the time of performing CPR that her adrenalin kicked in, resulting in physical damage and trauma that led to impairment to her body. For 7 years, she walked a physical, emotion, mental health and spiritual journey, moving through the 4 Elements of Pain. She developed this 4 step strategy program and tool out of personal experience and her professional knowledge. She hopes you will consider implementing the methodology of The AFISA Personal Health Plan program and/or discussing Your AFISA Personal Health Plan with your medical team in the spirit of reducing, eliminating or managing your elements of pain.
